JEE Main April 2019 Result Date

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2019, April shift Paper 2  was held on 7 April 2019 (Sunday) while Paper 1 is being conducted on April 8, 9, 10 and 12. National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted April session JEE Main 2019. The exam is being conducted in both the morning and the evening shift. This year the paper is being held in online mode except Paper 2 which is based on drawing mode that is pen paper mode.

Result of JEE Main 2019

The result of JEE Main April 2019 will be released on April 30 for Paper 1 and for Paper 2, the result will be declared on May 15. Candidates will check their result on the official website where Information such as All India Rank, subject wise scores, total marks, category rank will be displaced. The qualifying status for JEE Advanced will also be present in the result that is where you have qualified for the next level exam or not.

Steps to check JEE Main April 2019 Result
  • Candidates will have to log in using their JEE Main roll number and date of birth through their admit card.
  • Click on Submit
  • The result will be displayed on the screen with  All India Rank, subject wise scores, total marks, category rank.

Cut-off of JEE Main 2019

Based on the total result of all the students the cut-off for the exam is being decided. There would be two types of cut-off the qualifying cutoff will be displayed on the result of JEE Main April 2019 which will be the minimum marks which the candidates need to secure to be eligible for JEE Advanced and the second one will be of Admission cutoff will consist of the opening and closing ranks for admissions into the various participating institutes. Though the admission cut-off will vary as per as the reservation list.

As per the reservation category issued by the government of India highest reservation in IIT exam is given to Other Backward Classes (OBC) if they belong to Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) and the least is given to the general category.
